@gsbrawler I find it kinda funny that you dismiss Kurt Cobain as "some drugged up idiot", and then tell this kid to go listen to Alice In Chains, which is a great band, but whose lead singer OD'd on heroin and wrote an album, Dirt, where almost every song is about heroin addiction. Also, this may be a great Oleander song, but I'll admit that the chord progression is VERY similar to Nirvana's Heart-Shaped Box.

Regardless of opinion Nirvana did have a sound that many of their peers had as well but they certainly weren't untalented. I didn't know and I doubt you ever knew who Kurt really was as a person. He certainly wasn't an idiot but was extremely messed up in his life and was trying to get help that just wasn't there. Alice in Chains is great by the way

wow i remember this song in the late 90's, i even have it on a cd of random music i loved back in the day that i just dug up, i remember it being a one hit wonder, but at the time this song was out it was like part of the soundtrack of that time alot of shit was going on with me.
