Movies like this piss me off.they get these punk ass actors with no experience then show em these wack ass moves for a fight scene and people think that shit is real! at least Djimon has REAL experience!
in the special features it tells u he has had previous martial arts training and in his profile it says he is trained in kav maga and he studied karate in high school
In other interveiws. he says he has had experience in martial arts..Even though that is different then ufc, that technique did help.
My bro also does ufc training and he saw the movie...Yea he thought some of the same opinions as you, but they did do a good job for the amount of time they had....anddd...i think they pulled those certain moves off pretty good.
MMA is great but never back down makes it super great! my favourite movie , was hoping for a sequel but then 2 came out and it was crap
