Well if you're using ATI cards you might be able to fix it through the beta 1.16 patch. It boosted my framerate through the roof and let me play on fairly high settings

I just love how "real" the game is.

In this ambush, the humvee in front, and it's squad, are history in the first 30 seconds. In the actual military, the frontline has a 3 second life expectancy in an ambush, and the game just seems to realize the statistics well.

just like arma...you can make your own story and own missions if you know how to use an editor...This game touches the reality and not like COD...At COD you get 1 man 1-3 machine guns and you go and kill everyuthing you can get in your way.Arma requires a little bit more of tactic...thats all

I have 2Gb of RAM and a 8800gt and i run this game on NORMAL setting.. except for the shadows on HIGH because i get more FPS when i do that (low it gets choppy :S)and AA on low. but this game still is a system hog, even with the latest patch, which kinda fucks up the grass and turns it into ugly, yet better to look through. Viewdistance i have 1200 otherwise i get only like 30 fps or something..

With 2Gbs of DDR2 Ram, if you want to run it with draw distance on 2000, use low settings. This game kinda screwed up with its camera, and that results in a huge amount of power required.
