  • [[kl'km

  • it is armenian

  • Serj for president

  • No one can deny that Armenia has so many beautiful and amazing songs!!! Especially when they are sung by such fantastic voices!!!

  • Shouldn't Hayrenik be translated to Fatherland instead of Motherland?

  • @IranahyeNotVTEC

When translating languages, you don't necessarily have to translate it 100% accurately, more so you use commonly used expressions like motherland instead of fatherland.

  • @wearelegion489 Actually yes, but he's right anyway. Hayrenik comes from the word "Hayr",which means "Father"

  • @MrRAMMSTEINER95

I know, but what I was saying was that "fatherland" isn't a commonly said expression, so you would say "motherland" instead, even if it isn't a direct translation.

  • @wearelegion489 Yeah true. But I prefer "Fatherland", too. Especially because I live in Germania and they always say "Fatherland". "Motherland" isn't used so much lol.

  • This made me clap my hands, like how a little child would react to a song. And I am freak'en 23!

  • Բարի արագիլ - Ռուբեն Մաթևոսյանի

    ты велик...ты гордость нации...браво, Молодцы !

One of the most beautiful Armenian songs, and composed by the great star Ruben Matevosyan. He has also composed, and used to sing AZK PARABANDZ with the wonderful singer RAISA MKRTITCHYAN. This song is about the love regarding the Armenian land haykakan hoxë.

    Yaakov Sarafian (BRAZIL)

  • axperes law jerga beiz esorwa druzjuniz heruja!wor hay ir hoxum chi usum apri uremen karas arten joges bane incha!!

  • the stork is actually symbolic because it always leaves its home but it never forgets its roots it always comes back to its home in the spring and summer! its a similarity between Armenians and the stork becasue armenians have always been kicked out of their homeland but eventually found a way to come back and they never forget their roots its a deep symbolism really! but this song is very Earthy i love old Armenian folk songs :)

  • Incredible beautifull song, but what is there with that stork? does it have some symbolic value in Armenia?

  • Yes the stork is much like what the bald eagle is in America.

  • Brilliant!

Редко слышу Сержа поющего на армянском, но если слышу, то берёт за душу (и своим необыкновенным голосом, и гармоничной мелодикой языка)!

  • Shat merci

  • What a beautiful song. Can someone tell me the symbolism of the stork?

  • @Broadleafe The Aragil has always had a symbolic meaning for the Armenian nation. Aragil (stork), swallow and partridge are familiar names in the Armenian songs and Ardziv (eagle) ofcourse is also well known in our patriotic songs.

It is the folk-national bird of Armenia

  • i love it when serj starts singing the most.

    (two great singers)

  • shat shat shnorhakal em

i was looking for the lyrics))

  • this is now one of my my favorite songs!!:)

  • glad to hear it : )

  • This is wery old & beuty Armenian song!!!

  • This song talks about the great it was the Soviet Armenia. Talks about the grat cuolity of life we have when Armenia was part of socialist.

Tashnagazagán party only song revolutionary songs in that part of time and Matevossian (a great singer) starts singing this song (also, HAYASTANÍ GARMIR KINÍ, the red wine of armenia).

Guetzé sovedagán hayastan!...long live Armenian Socialis!

  • Khatchadour has a beautiful voice.

  • I just... aaaah... Im delighted. Again. No longer complain that there is no "System".

  • thanks for the translation, after hearing serj and his dad singing it i was really wondering what they were talking about. regardless it sounds beautiful.
