@MrFinalgamer I hear ya. When you think of it as a video game, people wouldn't want to even admit it effected them. But think of it as a story, a good story with purpose, they'll change you. For me, this game came at a rough patch in my life when I was younger, so I had this when I had not much else to do considering where I was. So yeah, maybe it's just personal. Doesn't change the fact though that this story was moving as any other game, or story for that matter, that I've come across.

As a tear rolled down my cheek, I pressed story mode, and loaded my file...

I love Kingdom Hearts. I loved watching my brother play it and me and my other bro would watch him. We would laugh and have fun. Now, we rarely do that anymore cuz we have other things to do. I love Kingdom hearts cuz it brings back good memories and I love the soundtrack for the game, too.
However all lights eventually fade, the darkness is always there. Though that's not a bad thing. If you view darkness as the unknowable part of reality it's actually quite beautiful. However the dark can hold mysteries both beautiful and obscene, you'd need a truly strong will to stare into it without fear, and that is something almost no one can do. I'd advise people to abandon the misguided view of darkness, don't fear the unknown. Embrace it and know that it will always be there.

Okay. I'll be very honest here. I really loved the series when it was part 1 and 2. It just made extreme sense and it was fun. But then it just started going downhill after that. It would've been good just to make a part 3 and be done with it, but they go and extend it all over the place. KH just dragged on at that point. They don't even have part 3 out yet! And if you wanted all the games, you need like 4 systems just to play them all. They're just trying to make money and it makes me sad...
@MrFavorite01 It makes me sad to say it but you are very right, I think they had been setting up for part 3 just by looking at kh2's secret ending. the three warriors in armor pulled sora's, riku's, and mickey's keyblades from the sand. they were old and rusted as if they had been stuck there for decades, I think they made so many games because disney bought square enix right after kh2 was released and they are always looking to profit so they stretched the story to fit more games in.

This song just touches my heart. Each time I hear it I feel like I've been revived just by the melody of this song. I must say it is a very powerful piece.

I remember when I first got interested in KH -- first through the manga, and secondly by watching my friend play KH2 (at the time I had no idea what was going on when Roxas faded back into Sora :P). I just recently got back into it and now I am in love with these games. They have such great messages, themes, and when you finish, you just want to cry (BbS especially). Great job, Square. @KeybladeKa Well said. I think video games are our most powerful form of story telling. Its hard to not get enveloped or changed by a story as powerful as this. Sure you read a book, watch a movie, or hear a story but you PLAY a video game. Some of the greatest tales are the ones you play.

Ok i love this song AND this game....but does seeing all these cheesy comments make anyone else laugh hard? Fuck relationships, fuck real world pressures. I hear this song and think of the STORY OF KINGDOM HEARTS. Beautiful song....but it gets downright idiotic when people start attributing it to their own life. And all these feelings that they "feel" come from life. Inspiration is one key thing that life can give. When people compare themselves to things, they are inspired. Don't stop them please. Just be happy that you're not in a worse place in life. You at least got to listen to this once. Not many can do that.

I remember when I first got interested in KH -- first through the manga, and secondly by watching my friend play KH2 (at the time I had no idea what was going on when Roxas faded back into Sora :P). I just recently got back into it and now I am in love with these games. They have such great messages, themes, and when you finish, you just want to cry (BbS especially). Great job, Square. I'm waiting for KH3~
