I saw them at a place called THe BOmb Factory in Dallas, Texas. On my way to the show my car broke down on the freeway. I got towed and eventually made the show. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

About my unpleasant comment below that has apparently irked some people - Four Calendar Cafe isn't a "bad" album at all...but it is their weakest, since the dark feel of "Garlands" is kind of cool IMO, it's going to beat FCC. FCC has good songs - this one, "Summerhead," "Bluebeard," "Oil Of Angels"...but it's also got boring, gelatinous stuff like "Essence" and "Pur" sounds like two other CT album closers ("Ella Megalast..." and "Donimo".) So that's what I have to say for myself.

Are you crazy?? Weakest album??? Yes Garlands is a cool album but they matured as a group with 4 calendar. However I'm not going to say anything bad about you only cuz you like CT in the first place which makes you an alright person in my book, but this is by far one of their BEST albums!! :)

It's always going to be a subjective matter. It's impossible to rationalize this sort of thing. I think it's better to talk in terms of "my favourite album", as opposed to "their best or worst albums".

I'm not crazy about about Four Calendar Cafe and my favourite album of theirs is "Heaven Or Las Vegas". So what? That's just a personal bias based on my moods and experiences, etc.

The beauty of this band is that their catalog caters to such a wide range of different people.
