Having heard this, I'm stuck by how the synthesiser run in Portishead's 'The Rip' - which this track precedes by a couple of decades (or more?) - sounds so similar, especially at the 1:00 and 2:00 minute marks. Thank you FD88. This is just what the doctor ordered.
