Man, this song is great. About the 3.30 mark is what really hit me in the theaters watching the credits. Gave me goosebumps, and had to buy the soundtrack just for this song. The thing you've written in hindi transliterates as "Namaste" and yes, that is what you say to greet someone. Chaiyya however, in the context of the song means nothing, really. Its just a word to keep the rhythm/make a catchy lyric. It can independently mean lover or friend in certain Hindi dialects. :D

this is the original version, but there's another version, which is revamped by another composer. it has hip hop and its much much longer. i cant it anywhere including the inside man soundtrack. next time u watch inside man listen to the song in the end credits, its a remixed version.
