hey I was reading this and is there a way I can Volunteer two, I'm originally from Sudan but I Live in Pittsburgh PA, I did also live in Kenya for almost 10 years before I can to U.S. 2003 and I have been here since then, I want to go back and help .

my friend bailey. her brother owns started Global Connections, and they take a trip to Kenya every year to an orphanage and their are many places you can volunteer. i can get you some information if you need it.

If ever there were a time of need, it is now. If the peacemakers are to be blessed in the kingdom, they have to work in the fragments of those who would sieze power and kill to do so. So many love, share, and work for respectful democracy in Kenya. Pray for them. I worked in a hospital where Luo and Kikuyu work side by side.

I know what you mean, I lived in a remote part of Kenya for a few months and even though life was harder I have a desire to go back.

Staticnetwork...do you have any info on short term visits to Kenya to help out...I can only make a 2 month commitment right now and most missions want a longer one

I went with a group called Shield of Faith in 2003/2004, and they have people go sometimes, but I don't know when and all the details. I know that there is a team going to Ghana for 2 years soon. They have free training programs in Bend OR that last for 6 months. Let me know if you want more details.

kenya used to be good upto 1990 wen pressure to open up our infant industries brought the gvt on its knees infant industries collapsed people became jobless this r their families if u really wanna help kenya petition ur gvts for fair play in trade,otherwise giving fish instead of fishing rod will change nothing.

While visiting Kenya tell the whole world the good part of the country not only negative things. It's a beautiful country and has it's good side. Many dont understand they talk about poverty, aids etc
