@niki6eto0 he can if he wishes but clocks will be much lower with 8 cores as apposed to 4, i can get my 860 to that with no hyperthreading, but useless if u actually want to use hyperthreading, currently im at 4.1 with ht on, 1.45 in bios,i never understood why ppl would buy a chip for so much money because it can ht, but them noob fuckers, don't even run ht, waste of hard earned money.
I get 4.2 with same pcu. Vcore is set to 1.425 in bios. Temperatures are nice. My problem is that my bios won't let me choose a multiplier higher than 21 (21x200=4200). I use a gibgabyte p55-ud7 which is a very nice mb.
look up 1156 and overvolting meltdowns... you really should not push that past specifications (1.40V) unless you want to melt the socket on your motherboard...
You also should mention that you have hyperthreading turned off, since that defeats the purpose of an i7...i5 760 would have saved you a 50+ bucks.
Lol I wanna see your temps.. 1.464 Vcore on Air is no joke, judging be the sound you ARE running air... Those idle temps mean nothing as everyone can use LLC and lower it to the ground.. yet on p95 it will skyrocket to 80 within seconds u know? lol.
Btw, running mine @ 3.6 w/ 1.232V.. 7.2GT/s on the QPI, just like you, 200 Bus speed, just like you. lol
I can't read the kanji beside the posted temp, but I'm going to assume the person was listing the room temp as 26 degrees celcius. Not the actual core temps.
This is nothing. I could do 4.3GHz with 8 threads with about 1.38Vcore. Of course it wasn't completely stable, but benchmark runs like these are never meant for 24-hour use.
WHY are your tabs so slowly entered ? by an 4.4ghz you must in 0.0001mm seconds start...I have athlon and quckier loads than in your video...hope that you downloaded something or runned something big.
An expensive i7 on XP? What an epic fail... Have fun with DirectX 10 when ATi releases more newer cards and Nvidia comes out with their 300 series cards... Good job with the fake temperatures too. It was almost convincing...
windows xp performs much faster than windows 7 and vista because it doesnt have all those pointless functions that put a larger load on the CPU , Windows relys on pretty colours to attract the attention of retards.. this guy was smart and stuck with windows xp
@TotallySD excuse me? yes i do... windows vista and 7 use up more of your PC's resources, like CPU power, and RAM memory, to run back round programs that make you OS look pretty and packed with options that nobody uses...windows XP is not exacly my idea of a gaming grade OS but its still a great OS to use... and i think its you that dont know shit... cuz your one of those fags that microsoft depends on to make money ....."ohhh pretty colors!!!! i like im gunna blow 200 bucks for it!!!"
Windows XP, while using less resources, actually runs only SLIGHTLY faster than 7. Most mainstream PCs are powerful enough that the difference won't even be noticeable in response time. CPUs these days aren't single core, have low cache, and runs up to 100% usage when watching a flash video. They barely run at 5% with all the bells and whistles. Hell, my AMD laptop runs Windows 7 with Aero activated and it's only a 1.6GHz AMD Turion X2. You're not knowledgeable enough to have an opinion.
looks good, but tbh a i5 is all you need, the i7 is the same thing but with hyperthreading. Unless you video edit and 3d render then there is almost no point to pay so much more.
Remember its showing only 4 threads and the noise in the background is probably his fan on full blast. I have the same CPU. I love it. I dont even OC is. turbo boost already gets it up to 3.45 on single app threads.
u guys are NUTS!!!!! lol

@TheWarfare07 Or it could be a outdated version of CPU-Z. Under Windows 7, my 860 was also identified as an i5. After I updated, it went away.
