Apparently the Titanium reacts better with your skin allowing for a better grip - and the gold Titanium one is prettier lol :) I just got mine today and i'm sooo happy with it!! I've flogged it non-stop all day and my arms are killing me lol

The titanium is supposed to be more grippy... Not sure personally because I own a Platinum Stages pole. Good luck!

I've gotten myself the titanium. I've found myself becoming a stockist! lol

Haven't used the chrome but the titanium seems pretty good to me. More slippery then brass but as you said supposedly grippier then chrome. What finish/material is the platinum pole made of? Is it chrome. Seems like platinum poles are great quality. Good luck on your pole journey :D

I have the Multi-Piece Super Pole and it is totally stainless steel. I was going to get an X-Pole because of the good reviews and smaller price tag. The only thing that turned me off was the fact that they are plated/coated and some X fans said their pole started chipping after a few months of use (where they rub against it the most). Still... I was thinking that when I have left-over money I might get the Titanium pole for the colder months. From what I heard steel isn't so grippy in winter.

I have a feeling your friends bought counterfeit x-poles. These poles are 'painted'. Chrome or titanium finishes don't rub off. If the price is too cheap then it's probably counterfeit.There are differences between the counterfeit and real ones so its up to the buyer to do a bit of research.

Yeah, get the second pole! You can never have enough :)

I'm sure there are counterfeit poles but even the X-Pole Titanium description says, "The latest in pole dance technology this X-Pole has a special electronically COATED surface". And to get a chrome surface you need to electroplate the metal. With enough use any material can get dented or chipped you know? That is why people with chromed out cars are so anal about them. Hahaha! I'll keep you name saved for when I want to buy a pole. ^_^

Yeah, they're electronically coated, not painted. And I don't think I'll be doing anything that extreme to dent or chip my pole! (not intentionly at least) lol. I think I'll dent myself first. Damn the bruises you get from poleing!
