I played through the entire game on DELTA difficulty on Xbox 360. Besides the PC version having more textures, I had so much fun, the graphics never entered into play. Frankly, it's a shame CRYSIS hadn't been released on the 360 before CRYSIS 2. People said Crysis would never work ont he 360, but, Cry Engine 3 made it happen.

PC version has more dynamic lighting. Xbox version is too bright.
Also 1:17 , On Xbox his face looks completely flat with no detail. Same with his clothes and the lighting looks 'incomplete'.
But hey, That's what you get when you take an exclusive PC game and then port it to a console with a re-worked engine.

Overall the 360 version is better looking in a lot of ways , thnx to crytek's new engine. The 1 thing that is noticeably better with the pc is some of the particle effects & the light saturation with the fire / explosions. The illumination on the fire is amazing on the pc, but aside from that the console version looks breathtaking. A MUST BUY FOR ME.

Just remember that crysis will come out at 1024x720, that is sub hd just like cyrsis 2 but in PC is at 1920x1080p, and also it uses cryengine 2, which is more realistic than cryengine 3. (I have both crysis 1 and 2 for pc and play at max both) Crysis for consoles will have ''low'' settings compared to pc I bet.. just tlike crysis 2.

Actually, crysis is the best graphical experience every created as a game. Battlefield 3 (so far) hasn't topped it. We shall see after the game has been released as final, but i wouldn't get my hopes up. If you think crysis is not "graphical enough", that's because you haven't played it, or you have played it but with low graphical settings.

Tweaked lighting in xbox360 lets u see more of whats going on. Older version to dark sometimes. Im buying it before i play through CRYSIS 2 that i just picked up for xbox360.
PC version looks better in some aspects but i think its sad that Crysis still looks better than 90% of the games today, and Crysis 1 on 360/PS3 looks amazing for console standards. Crytek deserves some props for porting this game to consoles and optimizing the shit out of it to make it look good and play smooth. CryEngine2 was so poorly optimized that it took over a year for hardware to even make it playable. Now ye ol'consoles get a turn to play one of the greatest games of all time.

@parasean22 my £700 PC runs crysis maxed out at 1200p not 720p like xbox does ,higher texture resolution , better lighting/shading my PC is a multimedia tool ,it burns DVD's and CD's it surfs the internet ,it has 2TB of storage ,multiple video outputs better audio quality and dosnt get red ring of death ,so altho my PC costs more ,it does 100X more things than ya xbox does

Gears can't possibly compete with a state of the art engine with all the new features that just aren't available on the 360 or PS3 for that matter. Battlefield is on all platforms without the bullshit of exclusives as shown above, PC will never stop being the best way to game. It may no be convenient or cheap for all you kids who get payed less then 1000$ a year. Face it your beloved Xbox's and PS3's are becoming obsolete. @daedalus02 Because you0re watching it on youtube with poor quality. Play crysis pc in a 1080p native and it looks like you were playing xbox720. Just remember that crysis will come out at 1024x720, that is sub hd just like cyrsis 2 but in PC is at 1920x1080p, and also it uses cryengine 2, which is more realistic than cryengine 3. (I have both crysis 1 and 2 for pc and play at max both) Crysis for consoles will have ''low'' settings compared to pc I bet.. just tlike crysis 2.

Actually, crysis is the best graphical experience every created as a game. Battlefield 3 (so far) hasn't topped it. We shall see after the game has been released as final, but i wouldn't get my hopes up. If you think crysis is not "graphical enough", that's because you haven't played it, or you have played it but with low graphical settings.

PC version looks better in some aspects but i think its sad that Crysis still looks better than 90% of the games today, and Crysis 1 on 360/PS3 looks amazing for console standards. Crytek deserves some props for porting this game to consoles and optimizing the shit out of it to make it look good and play smooth. CryEngine2 was so poorly optimized that it took over a year for hardware to even make it playable. Now ye ol'consoles get a turn to play one of the greatest games of all time.

@desjaraah That's strange. What are you running? I have (2) 5870's in CF and an AMD Phenom iix4 @3.2ghz and the beta runs fantastic.. For a beta. That's on ultra with 4xAA @ 1920x1080... None of the glitches bother me as I expected the worst.

Either you are insane, your PC is not so great, or you need a better monitor that is calibrated using an electronic eye & software to match ISF standards, because the BF3 I played especially at Caspian Border looked better than any other game to date hands down. When considering the beta is an old build and was missing some graphics features within both the PC and console versions, that's saying a lot.

I don't care about graphical fidelity in this port.
What annoys me is the lowered amount of foliage (Which directly affects gameplay) and the changed suit modes, especially that fucked up use of energy for running.
