As per my information Khadim Hussain Naahni, the late flute player had to practice hard to play the flute intro and interval piece and in the end it was manual editing at EMI, Lahore that one best piece was repeated again and again. Such was an example of Khwaja Saheb's perfectionist attitude.

Mujhe Khwaja Irfan (s/o Khwaja Khurshid Anwar sahab) nay phone par iski kuchh history batai thi kay baqi songs mein flute kisi aur ka tha aur is song mein kisi aur ka cuz iski recordiong walay din Khwaja sahab studio mein flute walay saab ka wait kartay rahay aur kafi dair tak wo na aaya to kisi aur ko bulaya aur recording karwai (aur song hit honay kay baad credits mein bhi usi ka name diya) jiska wait kiya tha wo Studio kay kisi konay mein Desi p k tun para tha. @lovehumanity Dr.Saheb, it was not on the day of recording, it was on the first day of rehearsal when he was asked to come at 9 in the morning.

Khwaja Saheb reached EMI office at 9 and spent half an hour with the Manager. After some time he asked whereabouts of Saen. Manager told him that he was here in the other room since 8. When he was called he was totally intoxicated as

he was busy smoking charas to get ready for the rehearsal. He even couldn't walk and spilled his box of flutes.

@dramjadparvez Dr.Saheb, AOA, Saen Ditta played flute in all the song incl. this song except - sun vanjhlee di mithri taan - In that song late Khadam Hussain played the flute. And you are right, Khwaja Saheb was not happy with the recording and he just left the studio in an angry mood. However, during the whole night Mr.Mandodi and Kh.Saleem Saheb(Kh.Saheb's cousin) edited the song which was heard by Kh.Saheb next morning at home and approved the same which had more than 70 joints.

Ali Sufyan Afaqi nay recently aik public statement di kay Khwaja sahab nay Heer Ranjha ka music shuru karnay say pehlay Baba G.A.Chishty say ja kar rasmi ijazat li kay wo unkay Pheray film kay geet O' akhiyan laawn na wali line ko O' wanjli walaRya mein istemal karna chahtay hain. Ye baat kahan tak durust hay? aur unki nazar mein Baba Chishti ka kya maqam tha zara ye bhi bataiay.

@tmjatala mujhe aik unconfirmed report aur bhi hay ka Khwaja sahab nay aik aadh aesi recording bhi kar kay kisi kay hawalay ki hui hay kay isko 50 saal say pehlay public na kiya jayay warna fasaad ka khadsha hay.. Main unkay betay Khwaja Irfan say confirm karna chahta hoon kay aesa kuchh hay kya.. Mujhe ye bhi bataya gaya hay kay wo kya hay aur ab andaza bhi ho raha hay kay agar waqai aesa kuchh hay to us waqt kay hisaab say unhoon nay durust kaha tha :-) Yahan publically nahi likh sakta..
