Its not about vocal excercises. You can have all the technique and the best vocal coach but if you have nodules you will always be strained and damaging your voice. She needs to remove those nodules and stay retired for a year to re-educate her voice.

I think that there are hundreds of singers who sound far better than the 2009's Mariah, (though I admit that probably none of them have the same level that she had in the 90's). But it's impossible not to realize that her voice is so painfully damaged that it's almost a shadow of what used to be.
