S-man, I love the work you're doing with microelectronics, and also the R.R. Xings, but I'm concerned that you're not spending enough time playing with these things. Tinkering is great but actual racing is even better. Do those lights slow those vehicles down much, or what? My personal interest is Xings fabricated at non ninety degree angles,
curves & steep rakes in particular. Again, nice work keep us "Posted"
I went an dug through all my old video that managed to survive a hard drive crash, and most of the video of the table almost finished is gone. About the best I can do now is a slide show. I could never seem to get all 4 lanes to function right at the RR Xing. The reed switches would either not break the circuit or close it. Sloppy engineering on my part played a hand in it. I would design the whole mechanism differently now that I've played around soldering brass. Good luck, 7 stars!
I see you have done that fire truck,i just finished one and it was a true challange. I may light it up , I have lighted a few of the telisquirts and kept the gap between cab-body in place. If you would to see picts let me know. Man i love this hobby. Thanks for your compliments. I also use led<s for lights. Well keep up the great customizing. M-dog
The harder ones are the model I did.. The pumper has no clearance for the wiring from the cab to the rear. The 2nd one I did I raised that low section behind the cab for wire routing and it was a bit easier. Try lighting a JL nova front and back!! That was flippin' hard!! :)
Sorry for delay, but I have done a old aurora batmobile. I used fiber optics and light the 3 cannons on top and the flamethrower in rear with one light bulb. Im tryin to make my firengines flash - can you help with that? Ive also been workin for about a year on a rat-fink custom aurora hot rod, youll drop to the floor when you see it ! its awesome but no lights yet on that. If you want picts let me know. M-Dog
I made it. Check out my other videos and you'll see it working. Just started fully automating it today. When I can get it all working, I'll post another video. I'm short of funds right now and I need some parts to complete it.
