With stone being so brittle, is it cruel that I have this image of you playing them live one day, going for a heavy finish then shattering a stone...?
@Max0Inq The stones are cut into 1/8 inch thick slabs, then I chose different pieces that were the right pitch to form a scale. I had enough to choose from so that I only needed to tune a couple of notes, which I did by cutting them shorter to raise the pitch
@marrydruli Thanks.... and since you're from Romania, you probably don't know that our local term for tourists is "fudgies" ... because we have a lot of fudge shops that sell lots of fudge to tourists. And tourists also love to hunt for Petoskey stones, so "fudging amazing" is an incredibly accurate comment ( or did you know that somehow?)

Do you have to hunt for a specific stones, or you cut them to get the desired pitch?
