When doing sorbet take out the wiping blade since it will just get stuck on what does get through the screen, and it isn't needed since you aren't making a juice. Just a friendly pointer. :-)

Rawfoods guy did say that the machine wasn't really designed for this.
Not sure but you have voided your warranty.
