  • no lead lag hinges? lead lag is still needed unless the flexibility is starting from the center of the rotational axis

  • rcairpower......the blades used on this type of gyro fap up and down on their own as they are so flexible. The cured the asymetry of lift.

  • No flapping hinges? How did he solve the dysymmetry of lift? Did he do it manually by changing the angle of the DC head?

  • Can you roll or pitch up and down with a stiff rotor head without pitch up/down (when rolling the fuse) or roll over (when pitching up/down the fuse) as a result? I can only see him flying in a straight line.

    I'm not sure but I think you need the flapping/teetering to get rid of precession effects, that's what caused Ciervas first few autogyros to crash.
