if only the patriots defense of the early 2000's that simply dominated opponents teamed up with the offense today, then the pats would be unstoppable and would have at least 2 more rings
@TheSnake1123, their D wasnt that far off in 2007, but make no mistake 2004 was a better team for two simple reasons - a) Better defense, especially if they didn't have any injuries (Tyrone Pool and Ty Law were out most or all of the year!). Just look at the 6 linebackers they had that could start on any team! b) Running game -- defenses couldn't hold them under 20 in a well played and coached game by preparing pass every play!
hahahaha, those days where we could watch our defense with absolute confidence in them. At least now its more entertaining when our D makes a great play.
@CrazyAssault He had nearly 200 tackles last year. Jerod is very very very very talented. Bruschi is a legend, one of our greatest leaders, but athletically and talent-wise, Jerod is a real beast for his age. And Tedy said it himself, Jerod is better than him.
I bet Tedy, Vrabel, Samuels, Harrison, and Seymour are wondering WTF is wrong with our defense this season...anyways i still hope our high powered offense can win us another Super Bowl!
@mexicofan4life Just so you know, Samuel is the reason why we lost the 2007 SB. He dropped the interceptions, if he had simply snagged the ball, the game would of been over. And regarding Seymour, blame him, not BB and Kraft, if he asked for less money he probably would still be on our team.
Timeless player on a defense that looks better and better every year.: The "Bend-but-don't-Breaks"! Tedy, Rodney, Seymour should all be HOF's one day. Go PATS!
This video was so awesome , just seeing him making those plays, it gets you sad man...today's defense is nothing like it used to be before with this proud legend!
Tedy may not have been the biggest or the strongest or even the fastest LB ever, but no LB was smarter or played with the intensity that Tedy did. He had a nose for the ball and was always around it. Bruschi made more game changing plays than I can remember and his 3 rings were well deserved, and he earned each of them. He is a H.O.F.er if there ever was one.

i will always remember how shocked the announcers were when teddy stripped the colts player mid air and got the ball, they must have replayed that shit like 40 times

No offense to Tedy, but Jerod is way more talented than him. BB has done a great job replacing him.
