The best most fun , and complete spaceshooter out there.

It took the best from the X-wing games and improved.

I pray ,that the Old Republic will one day take this approach to space combat , I speak for 100's of thousands of players who have enjoyed Jump to Lightspeed. :)

Hey If you miss swg precu, check out swgemu(dot)com a group Remaking swg precu. It's currently in pre-alpha testing but they are doing great...And yes JTL will be in the emu but will be awhile before it is probably after the game is finished it will be added.

swgemu game is most complex emu around..unlike other emulations this whole thing is made from scratch by the devs yes It's going to take some time. also when is the last time you checked the emu website? The emu team has been making great progress and updates. Also It's getting very close to version 1.0 release

i've been on the emu recently. it is nice, but what i saw was basic functionality. i'm not saying they haven't done a lot, just saying it is pretty much meaningless. the more time that goes by without it being DONE, the more people move on and won't care when its finished. KOTOR mmo will probably be released before emu is completely playable.

God this takes me back.

Had a full suit of Imperial Pilot armor and loved it.

Space Combat was like a weak version of Tie Fighter, but had enough Tie-Fighter elements in it to make it more fun IMO than the land missions.

In Tie Fighter you could control things like amount of speed and energy distribution to Sheilds,Weapons, and Engine.

It also had a more sophisticated targeting system.

I really liked the game when i had it. Only reason i picked it up was for the space flight. I chose the Empire so i did all my battles in a TIE, since what i really wanted to pick up was a TIE Interceptor. But the insane amount of lag during battles, in asteroid fields, and even when on a planet walking around. It was fun but eventually i decided to cancel the subscription. The lag was just to much and didn't make the game any fun.

I like to play it every now and then. But not too often and not for long. Its good but for me it's not a game that keeps my attention for long. I prefer playin on Warhammer online.. look into that. It's very good. and wow every now and then is good

The game takes place in 1 ABY. They didn't have the Mon Calamari Cruisers yet.

0:15 was inside a corellian corvette. It's part of missions for parts for the AV-21 and other stuff. You can start them for Neutrals (Which is against CorSec.), for Imperials (Which is against Rebels.), and for Rebels (Which is against Empire.).
