@parryotter9 Their intention in designing characters who didn't appear as High Schoolers in the comics was to sort of reverse engineer them to imagine what they would be like in their youth. Hence, Eddie Brock is a buffed out former letterman with a bit of rebellion.

Even if his mind is in two different places at once, we talking about Peter Parker here. The guy's almost a genius, it's one of the defining characteristics of his persona. He could have *easily* come up with something that sounds like it had some depth. Like I said, normally I let it go because I love the show and the comics, but sometimes it's just so bad I'm left going O_o

The scene in this episode where Dr. Connors transforms into the Lizard is, in my opinion, one of the most terrifying and emotionally disturbing scenes ever to be included in an animated television show. Certainly I understand that this show was made with a really wide age-group in mind (both young and old), but I nevertheless wonder if they should raise the age-restriction on this one at least a little higher.

Eddie hated Peter Parker NOT Spider-Man for pointing out a mistake on his article which led to him being fired. Then he figured out about Peter Parker being Spider-Man. and Gwen Stacy died because the Green Goblin knew Peter's identity and knew he loved Gwen so he killed her and Mary Jane knows Peter now.

Okay, seriously, this is one of my favorite shows of all time. I SERIOUSLY hope it gets renewed for another season! If you love this show, please people, buy the DVD sets and tune in to Disney XD (if you have the channel) when the new episodes premiere!

For most shows, it doesn't matter how or when you watch them. For SSM, it matters deeply. I for one would hate to see such a great animated show get cancelled while drivel like Total Drama Island remains!

I've enjoyed this series so far, but this episode challenges suspension of disbelief a little too much for my tastes. The DNA mixup plot is stupid, but I can let it go. What's truly inexcusable, is Dr. Connor's incompetence and disregard for safety procedures. In a world where random chemicals cause humans to change into superpowered sociopaths, you do not test volatile compounds on people. Geez.

this is a cartoon.....based on a comic. There are PLENTY of comics where ppl get zapped with radiation and get superpowers instead of cancer, and plenty of cartoons that, well you get the idea
