We used to have a plectron in the lounge room where the TV was and it was cool because the plectron would go off first then everyones minitors would start beeping.

You just need a radio on your frequency with your dept's tones programmed into the encode.

yea, most radios can do it. pretty much any decent radio that has a screen with menus and stuff can do it (most motorolas, my relm, etc) you just need to know the tone freq and MAKE SURE YOU DO IT ON EXTREMELY LOW POWER cuz otherwise it will set off everyones pager. but usually for my vids i just do it on a murs channel so i dont have to worry about it

yea you can do it with an HT1250 you just need to get it programmed with your tones in it
