I feel like having things like this and having them as realistic and graphic as possible is a stark reminder in that part of the world compared to the American "Don't do this or you'll die" slap on the wrist deal we get lectured about constantly. I never text and drive and I'm 20 years old. I never even answer the phone even with blue tooth. It's a distraction and this goes to show exactly what happens. I've almost been hit by people who were texting and driving. I followed them and told them that if I ever caught them again I'd report them to the police. If I'm in a car and a friend pulls out there phone I say no put that away or let me out. This is so sad.
You can text and drive, but be smart about it. I don't text and drive, but when i HAVE TO, In my opinion, these are the most safest ways to do so (and i know how to do all of these).
1. Learn to text without looking, if you dont have complicated keys like the blackberry or touchscreen keys (i can when my phone is closed, i have the EnV 3 from Verizon. Im pretty accurate)
2. Do it at a stoplight, or when the car isn't moving (duh)
3. If you got a friend with you, tell them to write the message

@hardlynewsblog If you are going to use a case study as a comparison, not to be rude, but you should be using a case study where the effects of both cases are accurately compared in recent events and the amounts of accidents accurately charted for either A. Drinking, or B. texting. Using past experiences of one group when another isn't around is a biased unfair case study.

I never text and drive and I'm 20 years old. I never even answer the phone even with blue tooth. It's a distraction and this goes to show exactly what happens. I've almost been hit by people who were texting and driving. I followed them and told them that if I ever caught them again I'd report them to the police. If I'm in a car and a friend pulls out there phone I say no put that away or let me out. This is so sad.

You can text and drive, but be smart about it. I don't text and drive, but when i HAVE TO, In my opinion, these are the most safest ways to do so (and i know how to do all of these).
1. Learn to text without looking, if you dont have complicated keys like the blackberry or touchscreen keys (i can when my phone is closed, i have the EnV 3 from Verizon. Im pretty accurate)
2. Do it at a stoplight, or when the car isn't moving (duh)
3. If you got a friend with you, tell them to write the message

Question 2: Are you saying that even while texting, should you look down to see the text while at a red light, that you won't mess up and accidentally go through a red thinking it was green?

Response 2: What i mean is if you really wanna text. Then do it at a red light when your car is at a complete stop. I would rather get honked by a car behind me because i didnt notice the light turned green than to text and drive, even if im not looking at my phone.

@misterlonely1446 Not causing a debate here, just saying, the baby was unresponsive. It's pupils were not changing and remained fixed the the main was holding it. Sad to say, but they were showing that the baby had died. It actually doesn't take much to kill a child. I believe that it's 8 pounds of force for a direct impact is all that is needed to fracture a babies skull and potentially kill it.

Can't you just wait 20 minutes until you get to your destination? OR only text when you are completely stopped at a red light, is whatever you have to say REALLY that important? Or call them on the phone (since it is a PHONE) so you can have your eyes on the road.
