  • This guy is like the Animal of spoons. No joke.

    Ya know, "Muppets"?

  • l0l he was sitting down all the way up to the middle o_O he's alrady awesome for just doing that.

now the spoonery is other thing...

Do you think he's the ginosagi?

  • I met him in Australia in 1988 when he was here for the World Expo street entertainment program. We hung out for 6 months until he left the country. We've kept in touch on and off all these years. The guy is a true rock star, and a legend among other street entertainers the world over. He's played with Frank Zappa and at the final outdoor concert of The Who. He is also an activist and a fantastic songwriter and poet. Go Spoonman, the Sultan of Silverware!

  • he must have gotten really bored after dinner one day...

  • Artis FTW

Soundgarden is genius, giving this guy the promotion he deserves.

  • Is there a Soundgarden song about this guy or is that completely unrelated?

  • yes, the song is about him, and its a kick ass song;)

  • Yes the Soundgarden song is about this guy.

  • are the guitarist and bongo guy actually a part of his act. cause if not, i wanna kill them.

  • WOW

  • this man shows the essence of music; all around.

  • Got to meet him once, it was awesome. I was at one of my friends Aunt's house in Seattle and he came over and played his spoons for us. He hung out for at least an hour and really opened up to a bunch of strangers with all these great stories and insights. Some of his spoons and other instruments themselves had stories, I remember him pointing out a tuning fork that was a gift from Patch Adams.

    a truly memorable occasion

  • This was a great show but it only lasted two years. It had such an eclectic line-up almost every week. Where else could you see Leonard Cohen and Sonny Rollins on the same show? Or Conway Twitty and The Residents on the same show? What other program would show music like this? Would they even consider it to be music? Come on, people. As they song says, "Take a stand and raise your hand!"

  • Spoonman!!

    Come together with your hands!!

  • and save me! ;p

  • hes just so amazing, its just sad that the sound is a few seconds behind the vid (or else its my pc)

  • why can't they keep a show like this on anymore? just one independent non-commericial. Nope.

  • Yeah me made me dinner too, but all he made was soup.

  • I love this guy

I got to meet him and he made us dinner and everything

    hes amazing

  • i have never met him. but his music is telling me everything. he is incredible ;-))
