Well if you wish to play any of your old PS1/PS2 games, read SD cards and many more small cards like that, or have 4 USB ports instead of 2, then the 60GB model is the ONLY one for all that. If your not worried about any of that then its up to you. Price sounds a little steep of you ask me though.

Just thought i'd also let you know that 60GB is harder to get hold of any is no longer sold in stores, there's plenty on ebay but that depends whether you don't mind using ebay or not. The new 80GB is the main one sold in stores so if you were planning to go down to your local store then more than likely you will only find an 80GB. The only thing you really gotta decide on is whether you want to be able to play old PS1/PS2 games or not..
