It says compatible with the newest intel core i5 and i7 processors but on the ocz page it says in the Highest Recommended Applications

My question is, would be able to handle my i5 2500k quad core and my 6850 radeon plus 2 or 3 devices?

@6packjellyrolls Lol, way to go although i would recommend another power supply if you want to upgrade in the future, my psu will have some hard time to support the more watt consuming nvidia cards =/ maybe it could handle a 7950 radeon.

Why in every review of ModXStream PSUs, no one has the cleverness of turning it on manually (without any component) so we can see how quiet or loud is the fan?

nm im quite dumb. My 700w version is very quiet. It turned out it was my cpu cooler that was loud. It is basically silent, i tested it alone.

I replaced my CoolerMaster Extreme 650watt with this one and it rocks! It gives rock stable readings through my multimeter at 12.17v whereas the CM Extreme 650w reads only 11.66v at idle!! Definitely worth the buy!!!
