  • I use Premiere. iMovie has a cross dissolve, but not an additive dissolve. If you like free, you might check out jumpcut dot com

  • very nice, clark! did you do these yourself? what software are you using? (Adobe Premiere, I assume?). Are there good alternatives on the Mac that you recommend that come for free?
