What complete lies. There were TONS of Iowa Ron Paul supporters there. The only reason he didn't win is because Bachmann gave away catered food and a Randy Travis concert to people who could show they voted for her.
LISTENN UP FOLKS! Ron paul raised nearly 6 million last quarter and it got him on a lot of news stations! He needs to raise 12 million this time! PLEASE donate more money and PLEASE paint your town in signs and stickers of DR Paul! This is our country people! Lets take it back! RP 2008!
Pay no attention to metal-head-burrito. newswithviews is a neo-con "news" outlet along with their cohorts. They create fabulist/lies, fake stories. If ron paul voted that way, it would show up on the official congressional govt. voting record website. It's not there. Thus the article is a lie. Ron Paul has been a Republican for 11 years. Mitt Romney voted pro illegals just 2+ years ago + even hired them to clean his estate. Romney created the harshest gun ban in massachussits history
haha! Metalheah, nice lie! he has neevr voted to higher taxes, has the most honest track record in congress EVER, never has flip-flopped! Wants government to stop policing the world!
Vote Ron Paul 2008 and stop the government corruption!
Then the sordid tale of the next owner of Sequoia Pacific, financier and corporate raider Louis Wolfson. Wolfson was convicted of bribing the only Supreme Court Justice ever forced to resign in disgrace, "Dishonest Abe" Fortas.
Sequoia Pacific's record is riddled with instances of criminal bribery and political corruption.
It began its modern life as Automatic Voting Machine, spun off to shareholders of Defense contractor Rockwell in the 1960s. The company's founder, Lloyd A. Dixon Jr. resigned as president and CEO on Jan. 10, 1973, and later went to prison, after being indicted by a New York federal grand jury for bribing Buffalo election officials.
In fact, the Gambino Family and Sequoia Pacific have had more than a nodding acquaintance, according to newspapers in New York reporting on the intrigue surrounding the awarding of a multi-million dollar contract for election machines in New York City during the mid-90's, where Sequoia's representative in the bidding gained notoriety for attempting to grease the skids al little at a marathon luncheon hosted by Salvatore Reale, a Gambino underboss who later pled guilty to racketeering.
Critics of Diebold point out that virtually every other machine the company makes provides a paper trail to verify the machine's calculations. Oddly, only the voting machines lack this essential function.
Controlled by a small group of interconnected far-rightists, companies like Diebold, ES&S and Sequoia have proved notoriously unreliable in past elections. Significantly, the people in charge of these firms are also closely connected to the covert operations milieu of the 1980's that spawned the Iran/Contra and Iraqgate scandals.

"Following the 2003 California election, an audit of the company revealed that Diebold Election Systems voting machines installed uncertified software in all 17 counties using its equipment.
Diebold installed uncertified software in machines in 17 California counties using their equipment. Manipulating vote counts was a key feature of the foreign covert operations of the Reagan and Bush (I) years. Recall that the Ahmansons (deeply involved with the development of the companies that make electronic voting machines and their software) were associated with people like Oliver North and John Singlaub—prime movers in many of those covert operations.
Former CIA Station Chief John Stockwell writes that one of the favorite tactics of the CIA during the Reagan-Bush administration in the 1980's was to control countries by manipulating the election process. 'CIA apologists leap up and say, 'Well, most of these things are not so bloody.'
Bob now heads Diebold Election Systems and his brother Todd is a top executive at ES&S. Bob created Diebold's original electronic voting machine software. Thus, the brothers Urosevich, originally funded by the Neo-Cons, figure in the counting of approximately 80% of electronic voting in the United States.
Again, note the incestuous structure of Diebold, ES&S and both firms' relationship to Hagel and the Urosevich brothers. "Bob Urosevich was the Programmer and CEO at AIS, before being replaced by Hagel.
read up, i know it's a lot, but we need this stuff in the light of the day:Think of the possibility of a man-made earthquake affecting the election. In the context of the Machiavellian nature of this administration, it is worth noting that Machiavelli counseled that a leader destroy a society with democratic traditions, lest it regroup and restore those traditions.

No he probably read what his current bills on the floor for illegal immigration are. end birthright citizenship to non citizens, end welfare for illegals,
the vote you are talking about is long ago and had some unconstitutional stuff on it
I know one Iowan who came up to support Tancredo, until he read the Ron Paul flier of positions. He converted and put in his vote for RP. I am from Iowa myself, and my car indeed has Iowa plates sweet cheeks.
He didn't look very close. We are from Iowa and have a large white 11 passenger van with Iowa plates plastered with yellow paint on the windows. You cannot miss us! I think he needs to clean his glasses. Check out videos with our van!
Electronic Voting?!! Are you kidding me? Are you going to allow electronic voting? That poll was rigged!! Paper Ballots ONLY!!! Ron Paul for President!!!!
Hey guys this is great news and a great victory for Paul. Romney must have spent 500-1200 a vote where Paul probably spent less then 30 a vote since some Romney voters voted for Paul and the others on Romney's dime. We are going to win. Waved signs yesterday in Conroe TX and went to a meetup it was great. When you can have a rabid far left liberal, a crazy Rigth wing fanatic, and a middle of the road financial moderate in one room all agreeing on Ron Paul.
That's BULLSHIT...I talked to this guy and although he right, there was ALOT of out of town support, I personally watched him take down names of Iowan RP supporters. This is disingenuous.
I was there too and was a vote observer. If the numbers were fudged, the only possible difference it would have made was maybe it would move Ron up to 4th. But I don't think the numbers were fudged.

Actually, the Ron Paul campaign has put almost NO EFFORT into the straw poll- he didn't even show up in Iowa until a few days ago- almost all of what you see is NOT from the Ron Paul campaign, but from grass roots people doing it on their own!
Oh My God It's Freaking Ron Paul! Did everyone know that he was born of a virgin who became pregnant when she held the Constitution? Did you guys know that Ron Paul spelled backwards means "Consitution" in many languages?...Michael Chertoff has a gut feeling...Fire cannot melt steel! AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's funny coming from a Ron Paul supporter. You guys give the neo-cons a run for their money when it comes to demonizing people who genuinely disagree with you. I am even open to listening to the "9/11 truth" people (I know that a portion of Paul supporters are involved) if it is based on actual evidence. But you guys expect us all to abandon our positions on issues we feel deeply about.
I listed things I thought Paul was right on. I agree with your opposition to Bush's disregard for civil liberties...I am 100% with you on that. But that doesn't mean that Ron Paul is the only alternative.
My prediction is that...fire cannot melt steel! AHHHHH! I agree with Ron Paul that this war is a disaster (always has been) and our troops needed to come home yesterday, and on the concept of blowback, and that torture and illegal spying is ruining our country. I just think that his supporters can be extremely abrasive. Paul could not be more wrong on health care, the economy, reproductive rights, gay marriage, ect. He's thr best Republican...but that is not saying much.
personaly i admire the dedication of Ron Paul supporters and the fact that they're willing to do this for free tells a lot about his support.
are you kidding me? how is he wrong about those issues? he said he would not cancel medicare because that would be too much of a shock, but he will give people a choise.. the US economy will be doing extremley well with no income tax. are you against gay marriage?
The Democratic position on abortion is completely misunderstood. We only want an exception for the mother's health in the late term ban and everyboddy wants to reduce abortion. People like Ron Paul are basing their policy on religous views, not on sound science regarding when a fetus begins to have human qualities.
What complete lies. There were TONS of Iowa Ron Paul supporters there. The only reason he didn't win is because Bachmann gave away catered food and a Randy Travis concert to people who could show they voted for her.

Sequoia Pacific has a more colorfully-criminal corporate history, we learned, than that of any organization this side of the Gambino Family.
