i think this works better with afflic and a felhound, never run outa mana and dots do more dmg + heal more. I used that method to do all the grind kill collect quests when i was 50. pre-patch 4.0.1

Just finished a one hour grind on that spot. I used affliction spec (51/0/10) with a lvl 70 warlock. At one point I ran out of stags to kill so I started looting that's where my xp/h went down. I got up to 1million xp/h but ended the hour with 738k. I would suggest any warlock this spot cause it's fastest possible lvling at this lvl.

That's bullshit. Without rested, you gain 250k-300k per hour, that's about 5-6 hours per level.

@holdondota To be honest I don't remember how things went when I did this 2 years ago. But if checked my earlier post and if I said I got 1 mil xp/hour that must be what I had. Xp/hour is all about how fast you kill and like I said in my earlier post if you run out of mobs to kill xp/hour goes down. Oh, before I forget. I only play blizz so no 2x server.

update, i checked mine xp while grind starting position in howlig fjord.

I got actually 1mln xp/hour (without rested bonuses of corse) Which is kinda impresive i guess. I used deep affliction warlock, dark pact for mana.

Using puppy and dark pact for mana. And 3 dots on target: UA, C, CoA.

Or maybe using Void and shield + drain soul for mana?

i have almost 76 lvl warlock and i got almost 7 lvls in 1 day so that is way more then shown here + i didnt even know the quests (3.3.0) there wasnt q helper i didnt looted mobs except those i had to loot

@Grezz01 yeah I totally agree, I find just doing the quests and when getting 3-4 quests for instances up, go do them. the gold recieved from quests and instances dont leave you broke when you reach max lvl, and in my exp, will take more time to farm for than do while your lvling =]

Not true. By not doing the quests and just grinding to a high level, You get the ability to come back much better geared, and do the quests which will in turn give you more money then they would have at a lower level. In the long run, if you took the time to do it. You would make more money.

your doing well... but i noticed you are manualy clicking on the targets. You need to go into key config. and change your toggle target to the "y" button and make a /castsequence macro of your instance cast dots and put it on the noumber #5 hot key so.....y55y55y55 but i would not sugest you this method in instances

not sure but it may be better with the glyph it gives back 65% of corruptions damage as hp and when attacking like that 6 enemies with corruption thats a lot of hp

When u stack much spel power, u need only CoA and Corruption to kill a mob. Siphon life will generate more health that u need. If u have problems with health - go to demo for soul link and use glyph of Siphon Life.

Yeah, once you get up to level 71 or 72 you have enough talent points to get your felguard and have enough talents to get the Siphon Life talent. I love that glyph. 65% of the damage back in health. And since CoA and Corruption are both instant, you can go forever while lifetapping. I love Warlocks. OP, lol. I've got some BoA items on my lock right now to get it to 80. That makes a big difference.

affliction to 50/60, then go demo/affliction to 80. or go full demo to 80.

reason:

affliction is a breeze 40+.

Felguard can pretty much tank any elite. He also does a lot of damage. About 30/40% of your total damage.

If you go demo/affliction you get Siphon Life and Felguard at 71. Then you can pretty much dot up a mob, send FG, NEXT. And keep doing that untill there is no more mobs.

ANy reason? Felguard does the job from 50. Why? he does 30-40% of my damage, and in Outland I can keep grinding untill there is no mobs. This also improve at 71.

Besides, Felguard can tank any elite as good as a normal tank, if you know what to do.

Heal him up, watch aggro, and use a few dots.
