Love the fact it has user-changeable printheads, can print on paper, polyester, and other "outside the box" media, and emerges completely dry. Productivity throughput is improved. Icing or cake?-- It is environmentally friendly printing. Not to mention the image quality is getting rave reviews - and you can use the SAi software rip! AND, no ventilation equipment - huge advantage! Okay, I don't work for HP ;-) Just like the printer!
Gobs of money for a crap Chinese plotter and poor support from HP. At one time HP was top dog and made some seriously good machines, now I wouldn't have any of their new items - I'll stick with my older Designjet 2500CP and should I need latex printed on something I'll consider screen printing first.
