@charlotteamalie I think it's that same mentality you're showing that they are "foreign" when many have been in USA generations, born there, serve in your army, etc. As far as the marches, USA and MX will always have a tension for far more than race and with good reason....Another good example are African-Americans, many of whom I don't see have a "loyalty" to USA or feet attached or accepted. Also lol I think USA is the only country I know that looks down upon bilinguals.

@paoadabelle -I'm bilingual thanks to a great education and I always had a job because I speak Spanish. I was never looked down upon. There are planty of blacks in the armed forces who proudly serve their country and contribute to American society. What you see in the news are the Liberal minority of blacks manipulated by the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons and Rev. Wrights of the world. The Mexicans need to choose sides: either they are loyal to Mexico or to the U.S. You cannot be both.

Just walk into any Reform shul in the West Indies, Central or South America, probably 80% of the congregants are goyim and virtually all couples are intermarried. I was on Naye school for mid-school and high school and Im very proud to say we were one of the only schools that had Yiddish at school.. Lots of people are trying to get rid of Yiddish, so its very nice that people is taking it back again

thanks willie - Rinda Yiddish is like a folk language a mixture of German and Hebrew and more- Hebrew is the language of the Torah (Bible),one of the few almost dead ancient languages that has found new life as the official language of Israel. You can compare it to Latin that is still used in religion cermonies but not really spoken much any more, if it became used by a whole country in modern times. Yiddish was common enough in many countries so people from diff places could talk to each other

I was in this school for the last 3 years and they teach both of them. Unfortunately, that time wasnt enough to learn idish, but it was enough to get at least common phrases and some songs in idish.
