xtec hids they are great but the was pricy i belive around 160 i got 55 wat kit for 6k first then i went 8k when i went 10k

but you can buy chip chinese kits on ebay for under 100

How do the HIDs hold up against rainy weather? I heard that their visibility capabilities don't hold up as well as the halogens.

well true answer matters upon color you get, i have hids 10k right now and when ground is wet and dark it absorbs the blue lights if you want hids and concerned with viability get 6000k or below

by all means get 50 or 55watt kit, but when i had 6000k it was good on my car but i just like bluish look :P
