I feel myself so unlucky that I am listening Mr Nashanas first time, he is ustad in real sense of the words. Whoever listen him surely he gets lost in in his beautiful melody

Pushto is mother tongue but sings urdu ghazal so nicely.

I am sorry but he is not king Afghan singer by a long shot. Just because he is singing Iqbal's Poem does not make him so. I don't know what your criteria is for calling him "king" of Afghan singers. If there was such a thing that would be Ustad Mohammad Hussain "Sarahang" . If it was by popularity then it would be Ahmad Zahir.

thanx for comments.. it was a general word of praise for him yaar.. Can u agree in calling him one of the kings of AFG ? Ahmed Zaheer may be popular most in Afghanistan and MHS is well known in classical lovers but we in central location of Pak only know Nashanas cuz mostly its him on our state tv since 70s singing Urdu.. this by no means shud be taken as degrading of anyother..but a lack of expsure by PTv to other big AFG artists. Hope u understand my point of view Sir.

@kjaan You are wrong! SARAHANG never sang a Pashto song in his entire so-called singing career.Now to compare him with Nashnas, Nashans, is fluent in Pashto, Dari, and Urdo. A person who reaches the level of "Ustad" suppose to know at least 2 or more languages and be versatile.Ustad Sarahang that sing that man songs and he is/wasn't that much popular as much is Nashnas, A.Zaher and Saraban were/are.By the way Sarahan's songs makes most people sleep.So it's a remedy for sleepless people.

There are times when a singer becomes at one with his song. Nashanas shows that kind of merger of his personality with this ghazal. A delightful experience listening to his sweet-soft voice and watching his body language of total dedication. The second part is good but I want to listen to Nashanas repeatedly.Thanks, Doc.

Oh,no,please don't stop uploading Rahat, but do it separately. I like him too. After listening to a soft and slow-tempo ghazal in the honeyed voice of Nashanas, a high-pitch, fast-tempo song is less pleasing to the ear, but in its own space and context, that too is good especially if it's a quwwali. I know you were kidding, Doc,but I wanted to put in this word on behalf of Rahat anyway.
