Most of European RHD cars still have the turn signal on the left not the right because probably it's a waste of time re-organizing the wiring in the steering rack.
Same in UK and it's former colonies but the difference is European cars have turn signal on the left and the windscreen is on the right. Asian and Australian cars have turn signal on the right and windscreen on the left.

this was cool, i thought i knew everything about Japanese cars, but i never knew that the signal indicators and the windshield wipers were reversed.
