  • good video ! thanks for posting this. One quick question what CPU were u using to render that video ?

  • if i have a camera that films in a .mov format in 1080p HD 30fps how should i save it with with software so that its still 1080p when i upload it to youtube?

  • @bananaKID630 A number of output formats support 1080P resolution. AVCHD is probably your best bet because it has the most efficient storage (it packs more quality in the same size file or bitrate). YouTube and Vimeo now accept AVCHD as an upload format, too.

  • i cant seem to find the drivers :( how do i get AVIVO?

  • on my pc the option "fast video rendering technology" is not enabled...grrr. I have Ati 4870 on win7 64 bit qith AMD phenom II x4. I can't understand...

  • @bennydj Install ATI Stream installer under optional download. I am using Phenom II x4 940 with RadeonHD 4850 and it works for me.

  • Thanks for the demo, this is just what I was looking for. Is this hardware acceleration the same thing as ATI stream? Does it only work with AMD processors, or will it work with an Intel i7?

  • Yes, this ATI Stream (Avivo) which works with MPeg2 and AVCHD Output formats.

If you have Nvidia card using CUDA, it only works with AVCHD output format.

Processor does not matter, except you want a decent quad core for rendering. The i7-920 will render faster than any AMD processor currently out there because of its hyperthreading advantage.

  • Which program did you use To record the screen??/

  • Camstudio is free. I prefer ZD Soft Screen Recorder 4.0 because it can easily record the sound coming out of the speakers. A lot of recorders have trouble doing that. It also records in WMV format with tiny files, yet very high quality results.

  • Thanks!

  • My hardware acceleration cant even be checked...I have a AMD Phenom II triple core processer... with a 3800 radeon video card... now it should come on... i made sure i got the avivo software installed

  • Only 4000-series cards are listed on the website as supporting hardware acceleration, but you're right, the 3800 is a decent card so you'd think it would work. Try emailing tech-support.

  • where can i get the avivo software

  • Its at the ATI website. Right by where you get the regular driver updates.

  • Verify your card supports acceleration. You have to have the latest ATI/AMD video card drivers installed. And then you MUST have the AVIVO softare installed too, or acceleration will not work. If using an NVidia card, you must have the CUDA software installed for acceleration to work.

  • Can you give me the latesst link?

    I have HD3450 cpd-g220r Ploxz help i need u !!!

  • can not get my one to work it will not let me how do you put it on and off
