this game totally blows. combat sucks like i cant even describe, the player base is full of "my dx10 rig is leeeeeet!", and its is nothing more than a twitch play verson of wow with flashier graphics, but not better graphics (people and plants look nice,but some landscape skins are pretty much the same as wow)

LOL u nooB. The combat is SO much skill-based. It would take u a month or more just to master combos let alone mastering the use of surroundings and the momentum maneouvres.

Fuck wow 1 button casting & jumping around to avoid attacks.

Nobody uses dx10 btw NOR do they say "my rig is better"and it doesnt provide much over dx9.

GO back to wow and dont comment on AoC until u play it.

If u can handle the open fighting then go for the pvp servers! It really is like the damn books/films. Everything is so epic and mystic and you gotta really be ready to dismember anyone that tries it on with u ;)

Also, this is the only MMO that I actually LIKED the quests and pve :)

Gameplay rocks. No other words to describe it.. u dont need the TOP stuff to be GOOD. Its skill based. Have you got what it takes? ;)

@tam705618 Warhammer is such a terrible game. AoC is amazing due to it's combat system and many other factors. In my opinion, it is a game you will not regret buying. You can always try the trial that is available for both games as they do not have any time restrictions, so you will have plenty of time to try out the various classes available. I personally love the conqueror class.

@tam705618 class wise, they all rock, depends on server too. PvP.. easiest class to learn is necro and also it rocks in PvE too. Also, ITS SO FUN LOL! If u like to troll, necro is one of the most hated characters haha.

And you should really get a better PC, Heaps of people play on dx10 including me.

I'm all for AoC, I played WoW for 2 days and then let my monthly sub run out because it was such a horrible game. I've been playing AoC since 2008 and still do. I'm on fury server, most likely always top of any mini-games when using my barb or sin, it's almost second nature now, I barely ever get hit.. need better players these days since some oldschoolers have left..

I've played WoW, Guild Wars, and now Age of Conan. and it -kind of- is. Kind of. They kind of take classes from both games and stick it together. I'm still on "noob island" but yeah so far the combat design makes it a lot more fun. and the quests make you actually think.

If you do plan on getting the trial, I'd advise you get the trial from FilePlanet, for some odd reason. FilePlanets client is a 14-day trial, while Age of Conan's client trial from their website is only 7 days.
