i couldn't say to much about this in my tweet the other day (@pEDuchess) but you both have valid points. But i believe Bud Selig did the right thing. McCourt couldnt even pay the payroll. He had to borrow around 30 million just to be able to pay everyone for one month. MLB did the same thing with the expos a few years ago, but i dont think they would move the dodgers like they did the expos since they are in a huge marketing area. Who knows maybe Mark Cuban will buy them.
