Remove Annoying Ads On Websites With A Firefox Addon: Adblock Plus

You can ... click on the ABP icon , and sort all items by category , mostly flash ads are so called "frames" block all "frames" and your done.

Advertisements are meant for web masters to earn money. Bandwith and diskspace is not free on the web. Thats one of the ways web masters make money. If not most of the other famous sites now, will be gone. So I would just leave the advertisements as it is. If I like it I click it, if I dont, I ignore it. You dont need to use ad blocker or what ever that add on is.

I never click on ads and that's the only way webmasters make money. If you don't click on them there's no point in having them there. I know what you mean but personally I find them an eye-sore.

This might sound rude, its the web masters right to put in the ads. Me too, on my sites I dont place ads, but if you are the owner of one big site, well for a example Neowin, you will place a advertisement to get the $. If you don't, how are you going to pay for the server cost? Neowin runs a dedicated server which costs nearly 300$ a month. Well its your wish, if you would like to see it or not. :)

Not only that. You even get small video previews that you MUST see in order to watch the frikking video. Thats the most annoying part of the ads. The side ads i dont care about...

That's why I dont use ABP, My Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is smart enough to remove ads in YouTube videos without intterupting the videos, and it improved since last version of Kaspersky

what ads are you talking about the ads that pop up in the middle of the video or those ads that show you a video before the video that you wanted to see?

Because for some reason i only get the ads that pop up
