How is it that she was standing RIGHT in front of the bad guy, shot herself, it went THROUGH her, and killed the bad guy, but not her?

@CantStayAway Rizzoli is a lil shorter than him. She choose where to shoot herself, and since he was taller it prob hit a major organ for him but not her.

@CantStayAway from the angle I suspect it went through his liver and he bled to death. Guts and peritoneum don't bleed out as quickly but can be awkward to fix afterwards... hence the three months off...
