I remember being evacuated... i was only 10 it was terrible and scary.

I remember Boon presenting a lot of this coverage.

Was in Syd on hols when this unfolded, fortunately made it into Syd before the F3 was closed for days, stranding many on the freeway.

Whilst it wasn't like Vic 2009, it was ongoing for many days.

i was only 2 months old in january 1994, and me, my sister and my parents had to stay with my grandparents in sydney when these fires happened, we were living in the blue mountains back then, but our house wasnt harmed, we just evacuated incase it was harmed.

I remember the 1994 Sydney Bushfire emergency really well. In hindsight, it was nowhere near as bad as what we have seen in Victoria in terms of casualties and loss of property.
