I wish I could go back to the times when I owned this game... But back then I wasn't obsessed with it, like I am now, and I don't even think I likes it, back then! ... ... .. I was stupid...
@therealcaz actually, the title is translated correctly. God is kami-sama, o is just referring to something in a higher position, dor example ohime-sama is princess. Okage could be shadow king, shadow prince, etc.
>: does anyone know wher ei can get a new copy of this game? every game store ive EVER been in never has it ._. im nto even sure they make it anymore TT.TT
Whenever I hear this song, I automatically start whistling it. Even though I haven't finished Okage, it gives me this great feeling whenver I play it :)
totally sounds like Chim Chimaroo from Marry poppins :) but WAY better.. my dad actually pointed that out, i would NOT know. i never watched mary poppins, but... he's totally right.
One of my favorite things about this chronically underrated game is how it is goofy at first, and yet, when you think about it, it is actually by far one of the deepest games out there. It's all about being ignored & what happens to the outcasts of society; and also how what is perceived as "evil" or "bad" by the masses isn't always so.
Either way, it's a crime that this is not considered one of the best RPGs of all time. I've reviewed games for years and it most certainly *is*.
@Coffeeaddict3 I thought the same thing...and how the masses are manipulated by a force that is unseen and unheard of...a certain group of people...if you know what I mean.
This is the greatest game that has been ever made. They coudn't have made it better.I hope they make a 2nd one.I have finished the game and play it over and over again. This is one of thhe greatest songs to go into a video game.5 stars.
Nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia. Back when I was small an didn't see all the problems in the world. I'd do anything to go back to that time.
@Jaquan1254 A few years ago, when I was a freshman in college, I had a single-room dorm.
I was replaying this game late at night (I had played it back when I was young) and this song hit me with such a nostalgic force; I felt young, I felt naive, I felt isolated---it reminded me of how fragile life is; but most of all it reminded me of the life I had left behind.
Now that I'm listening to it for the 'first time' again, 5 years later...now I'm thinking about both of the lives I've left behind.
She really didn't die. She was turned into a doll in chapter 5 after you return from your ghost form. It is one of the most scary moments in that game, but I loved the game.
The last time I played this game was probably when I rented it like...8 years ago when I didn't even know what an RPG was and the only two PS2 games I had played were this, Klonoa 2, and Jak and Daxter. I had forgotten about this game and now I remember it and want to play it again. Thank you for the upload, I really liked this song as well as the world map theme. ^^
It was even sadder that the princess died in this chapter as well. I thought there was some way to stop her bulter from killing her, but it made me so depressed to see it happen.
Sorry for the DP, but this song made me felt like something was going to happen to Ari and Marlene in some point of the game. No matter why I finished the game when I was 10 lol. Great song, even though it makes one of the best music on Okage with Chapter 5 as one of the best chapters in the game as well.
That was one of my favorite parts of the game. When I first started playing this, I thought this game was just going to be all around goofy. Then when I got to Chapter 5 and the events that took place then...
All of Chapter 5 made me sad and really made me want to finish the game.
i don't know this game im sorry likers

censorship alert!
"O" means god
"kage" means shadow
i dunno why but i hate when the translation is not the real one just because the religious title

For some reason, I think of Umineko when I hear this. Bern and Lamba just giggling, having candy and thinking about ways to tease Battler.
