  • All because a liar "LIED". There must be a real penalty for PURJURY. That's why the Bible lists false witness. It gets people killed. It MUST be punished!

  • witness testimony is by far the worst thing ever!!!! i don't understand how they could still use that as a factor to support a trail. i can easily say yeah joe blow raped me when i know it was someone i may have known and was trying to cover up!! what is this world turning into!! jesus bless us all!!

  • 1.75 million for 35 years????? this is nothing!!!!!! they should at least give this guy 25 million!!!! 1.75 million for someone who is innocent!! sad sad place this earth! pathetic people!

  • for bill gates 1.750.000 dollars is one day job,,but for the governmnt mistakes the whole life of someone raped and abused for 1.750.000 !!

  • That's what happens in real life........The people that think the cops are your friend, and here to help, are sadly mistaken.

  • 35 years of his life gone? I think they should pay him 1000000trillion $ for this

  • they have had this technology for this for a couple decades. why just now?

  • poor man ! i hate the justice system for this , puttin ppl in over crowed jails and treating them ike animals its plain disgusting he shold have sued them for millions . when i see things like this i just dont undestand it makes me hate the goverment even more , the govermnt dont care about ppl only thier wallets is all they are concerned about

  • @chadprice5469ful well, our system is.. ur guilty till proven innocent. when ur accused , ur locked up, bond placed, restrictions attached, picture placed in the paper,,ur publicly humiliated BEFORE u even get a trial! Then by the time u get a trial, its all emotions and feelings,, noone can and even want to see evidence! they are already convinced! The courts doesnt have to prove anything,, all they have to do, is Convince. and you can convince people of a lie!

  • They forgot about compound interest

  • Imagine what the world would be like if everyone had the honesty, persistence and integrity he seems to have. For one, there wouldn't be any prisons or corruption to begin with. Bless this guy!!! I hope he writes a book, I will definately read it.

  • Here's a man who was accused and used as a scapegoat, spent 35 years in prison, and comes out the other side harmonious and grateful without feelings of vengence. I've met people in my life more ungrateful than him and they've had seemingly everything anyone could have wanted.

  • @Boutdonow14 yes, our system works on Half truths, and half truths have the same effect as lies,, they are meant to deceive! the Sex offense registry is one of those based on half truths,,,True there is a chance a person on the registry might commit another crime! BUT, there is a chance ANYONE may commit a crime PERIOD! The registry is like a broken clock! Even a Broken clock is right twice a day!

  • im now signing the paper and you sir are now a free man

    oh gee thanks

  • @HLecterPHD yeah,, for real!

  • He was locked 30 years for NOTHING???? Lemme tell you, I#ld buy an M60 machine gun and kill all the fuckin basterd judges who did that to me. damnit. ild run amok.

  • @123hardcoretyp lol,

  • Nope. No commercials.

  • Now it's time to put Bush W in jail for 35 years we all know is guilty.

  • you fools still going on about bush? you got your communist african in the white house now shut the fuck about about bush already.

  • what a joke you are. Poor man you are miller flies killer, hahaha. Do you even know what communism means? Do you know the difference between socialism, communism and socialism and marxism?

  • you take part in your own destruction, you ignorant fool.

  • His life is ruined! The very least they should do is supply him with free women, booze and all the steak and lobster he can eat for the rest of his life

  • Trey:

Try to go vegetarian--supply the guy with 'potted chips and sweet potatoe pie'.

  • this is a great coup for thoose advocating for building up a dna database, police state here it comes

  • 35 years wow...a good portion of this guys life has passed. And the sad thing is the real rapist is still out there... how pathetic

  • @SilvaSprinter yep, 35 years, and the real rapist is not on any register, can work where he please, be with children, live near a school, ect, ect. thats why i put no stock in the registry!!

  • this is why i love the country im living in and hate the country i was born in:USA,this dude pass 35 years in prison for something he didnt do

POOR DUDE,im never gonna return in the US

ive could return if he was the only people BUT many have been in this situation and many will be in the furture.

  • what country are you in?

  • Not to mention the death penalty. :-(

How many times was that wrong, I wonder.........

  • There may be coming shocking news about that sometime. It will, and many people will be mad about, that innocent people has been killed for something, they didn´t do. And it´s a sad thought for those innocent.

  • If judges and DAs were actually held accountable for their actions - like the rest of us - this would never happen.

I wish that Bain could sue the pants off the judge wot sent him to jail - sue him so hard, that he and his children would end up homeless.

There is a strange thing in this story though: The DNA testing, that proved his innocence has been around for at least 15 years. Why was the test only done now.

  • victor, you are true. The prosecutorial, judicial mindset, with rare exception, is utterly one-sided, vicious, anti-citizen. In the U.S., if you are accused, your chance of being convicted is alarmingly high. One has no idea what the Law will stoop to unless he's gone thru it. In fact, the "Law" has nothing to do with it. Anger these cutthroats and watch them counter-attack with overkill and brutality.

  • which is why they should make the sperm test and use a lie detector for the supposed victim, and the supposed witness.

  • Dudex58:

Yes, to, to, to be sure. Prosecuters = "Accusation is proof of guilt."

  • @lumpagogo its not proof of guilt, its convincing of guilt,, and you can convince someone to believe a lie!

  • @Dudex58 THey should sperm test the wittness? O.o

  • that's just insane.... no amount of money can compensate him

  • I have no idea who he is, but I'm very happy he's out. I even created a facebook group, just to honor him. I wonder how long it takes before he get's a facebook account and the millions of friends, by the way :)

  • @oinapea I agree, it is awesome that he is now free as he should have been all along.

  • Sadly, this has happened so many times in so many countries throughout human history. We must always strive to live up to the words "Better 100 guilty men go free than 1 innocent man be condemned". Words to think of as we allow governments to take away our rights to fair legal proceedings in the name of "national security" (or whatever other bogeyman has been created).

  • guys i really feel lonely today anyone wanna chat

  • This is why I do not support the death penalty and would fully support a constitutional amendment that we cannot take a life.

  • FUCK PIGS!

  • and you think hes the only one?

  • People like this should be given everything they want after the fail justice system stole their life from them.

Present day income average is about 34k a year. Multiple it by 35 and you get $1,190,000. That's a good start. I can only imagine how he was treated in prison for be accused of child rape and murder.

He should get everything he desires. Crap like this sickens me. We are 5% of the worlds population yet house 25% of the worlds prison population. Prison = profit.

  • Most of his life in prison, they shouldve had a car and house waiting for this man.. they deprived him out damn near 3 decades of his life with his friends, his family, a education, etc. I bet they got a lot of more men in prison who arent guilty, but since they have a quote on quote eye witness who say oh yea, i saw him, thats him who did it.. a lot of men get locked up and the key thrown away.

  • @DaWiiNeFiiNeDiiMe a car and house? the man is entitled to 1.75 million dollars.

Now if he doesn't get that then sure, car and house it up!

  • @DaWiiNeFiiNeDiiMe yeah, and a lot of times, that eye witness is the actual culprit!

  • so the judge concluded that: Eye witness already prove there are evil witches that are summoned by the devil like in the Salem case. So he reasoned: well it makes perfect seance eye witness saw the black man committing the crime.

probably if the judge still alive can't see why this science "charlatans" got this man out...

  • That money had better be tax free. Poor guy.

  • Surely Raptik666 that money better be tax free, poor guy lost 35 years, gosh

  • yeah i got to agree. but i don't think any amount of money can give back this man his 35 years. Also this is another reason not to have a death penalty as one can not be 100% certain that in all cases the person is guilty and even the death of one innocent is completely and utterly unacceptable.

  • wow..35 years..our system needs to change*****

  • Dang... 35 years... just think about that.

  • He seems like a good guy.
