well.. we have the same problem.

as far as I know, sunscreens don't last more than 2 hours on skin. so.. for me.. the more effective sunsscreen is (besides the "to avoid sun" or "work at night") is wearing long leeves clothes and a hat (like old times) and if laws here permit I would use a mask.

but I believe I already got too much bad reputation by simply using equal clothes all the time and under sun in hot days while most prefer to be half-naked

Speaking of purses, have you seen the seatbelt purses at PureDetroit? I saw one at a thrift store today for $15 and I can't believe I didn't buy it! (They are expensive in the store.) But we're all poor here in MI! Haha...

In South Florida we tend to wear a loose T-shirt and sometimes a wide brim hat. I prefer a Panama hat, but some people think it makes me look too much like a tourist. But yeah, sunscreen is pretty much useless. If you sweat it comes off or if you get the "water-resistant" type you end up all greasy.

If you put oil on your skin and go out into the sun, you will fry. In your condition, I'd wear a light, long sleeved shirt and a hat, like a sun hat. Just while you're walking. :)

Ouch! I know your pain, sometimes I get burned so bad I can hardly move.

I use a sunscreen brand called Bullfrog, seems to work well enough.

A dermatiologist could give better info, I'm sure.

if you only spend 30 minutes outside..there isnt really anything a sunscreen can do..go talk to your dermatiologist Jax maybe he can recommend something that can keep you from burning because its probably something in your skin making you burn

I love the idea that they make purses with city names...just curious...is there one called "Minneapolis?" That's where I'm from, and I would love to get one! :) Do they have a website or anything? And I'm telling ya, that sun is something horrible! Even with sunscreen!!! Did you know that a lot of sunscreens do much more damage than good, and lie about their actual SPF coverage? I've done a lot of research on it since skin cancer runs in my family. Take care hun!

Woah.. the sun is more than just out to get you. Check out 'Eclipse' sunscreen, it's the strongest thing I know of when it comes to combatting UV rays.
