If all of you bitching about the spoiler actually knew anything about aerodynamics on cars, you would know that the OEM spoiler on an Evo serves almost no purpose whatsoever, other than looks. The height of it and the design really does nothing for downforce, like it's functional rally racing cousin. It's mainly for looks on a street legal version of a rally car. And as has been said here, the car looks sexy with or without it.

I also have the Megan Racing cf spoiler, when I choose to use it. It definitely makes a difference. It stabilizes, but in regards to downforce, it doesn't offer much.

@terrysan The only way you can find out if it's an RS is by asking the driver. People take off the wing and fill in the trunk holes. Plus the RS is flat black no the mirrors and door handles. Doesn't come with HIDs either. Manual locks and windows. I own a true RS. From the look of it, its just a wingless GSR.

@XxKoDaKoRexX No he wasnt. He was in gear. You cant make a BOV release like that when your in vacuum, which is all the time when the car is not in gear. He did that by tapping the throttle to build boost and let off quickly. Thats how its done.

Nah, my Evo does that. I think any turbo-charged car does that. As you're accelerating and it's spooled, you just let go, then press down real quick over and over, but don't punch it, you just slowly let off a little more each time you press back down.

It's just a little alternative to the old accelerate to while in gear(or in neutral), then let off with vrooom-tsuuu!
