Thanks for the inspiration! I am 45 years old and I set a goal 2.5 years ago to bench 300 lbs. When I first started I could barely bench 180 one time I now can bench 240 lbs. 25 times with rest every 5-9 times and I am getting ready to bench 300 max for the first time on monday morning!
Thanks for the encouragement!!! This is one problem with lifting past 50, the chest seems strong enough, the mind is willing, but other parts of the body tend to protest (shoulders, elbows, etc).
AWESOME...psch psych psych... YOU CAN DO IT !!!! (and eat a ton of high calorie food for a couple of days beforehand).
