This is stupid. Never met an Akha woman who didn't speak her mind. The burden placed on Akha women? why not the burden placed on all Akha by the seizure of their lands, forced relocation of the villages, the lack of ID cards, the discrimination against them in Thai society???? Why not blame the real agents who bring grief into the villages, like the drug war that is used for ethnic cleansing by the Thais, the lack of fairness at trials of Akha prisoners, the way the police, army treat the Akha.
