My two cents of respect for this man: Frazier - Ali 1, Frazier - Ali 2, Frazier - Ali 3. what you'll get is the best boxing story ever told, by a warrior who would not take shit from anyone, including Ali, and another warrior who got sent to prison cause he was an outspoken black man, and wanted his crown back.

I remember listening on the radio of the big fight in around 1971 when George fought Ali..I was a kid in the .UK .......... My Dad woke me up as arranged and we heard the fight right through.... I was convinced that Ali would win....... I was 12 at the time. I thought Ali always won. .................... When Joe won that fight, I was converted. He was a special man.............. god rest his soul..

Rest In Peace, the beloved Mr. Joe Frazier. You know, for some reason, I've been watching a ton of Frazier's old fight footage lately and this was before even knowing he was sick.  Sometimes, I guess you can just sense something bad might happen and it has. Smokin' Joe was a true champion and an American icon. He will be missed by all.

RIP "Smokin Joe Frazier", because of the goodness of his impeccable character, and how he has assisted others, Joe Frazier left his inspirational print on many though out his life. To learn more of this great man...just Google! After I had the opportunity of meeting him last year, I must note, he is one of the most kind and gracious beings I have ever met.. And his smile, indeed, shined up any room he had entered! Our "Great Smokin Joe Frazier" will continue to be missed!
