Now, with this bill, illegal immigrants no longer have that fear because health care is, supposedly, "universal." Therefore, many more dollars are being diverted to pay for these immigrants' health care. The bill, on a large scale, is attracting and paying for the health care for illegal immigrants.

@bordenwesley @bordenwesley I understood the cost is tacted on to consumers in the manner consumers pay for shoplifters. Medicare or tax dollars may pick up some hospital cost. These fees existed before the Health Care bill, so I don't see how you can argue it's the Presidents doing.

@SteelMartini Yes, the fees existed on a much smaller scale. Illegal immigrants were afraid to come to the hospital for fear of being charged. Now, with this bill, illegal immigrants no longer have that fear because health care is, supposedly, "universal." Therefore, many more dollars are being diverted to pay for these immigrants' health care. The bill, on a large scale, is attracting and paying for the health care for illegal immigrants.

Our nation is spending nearly $100 billion per year on this research. Once you take this research and extremely advanced health care into account, it's no wonder why 16% of our GDP is allocated towards health care.

Capitalism works because the population regulates the market instead of the government. Your theoretical scenario would not happen because those people are profits in the eyes of business owners. They will adjust prices to yield the highest profit.
