I'm just saying I had the OPI top coat and it was great at first, but then after a while it got so thick, even after using thinner, and I could barlely get the product off the brush. The Seche Vite top coat is way better. But don't get me wrong OPI is FANTASTIC with colours and base coats.

Check out Essie East Hampton Cottage. The Essie website describes it a "a beachy sand pink with hints of sheer shimmer." It has been my go to color for years and you seem to like similar colors. It took me like 30 polishes when I started my search for an awesome light pink, and I still love it years later. Let me know how it works for you if you decide to get it :)

@OhSnapRayssa I don't think nail polishes can expire but, they can get old and dry out. The ones without the little balls to mix them up have dried out quickly for me. But you shouldn't have a problem if you screw the cap on all the way and they have the little balls. ♥

@cutenails4life It's so worth it! I have some Essie colors and keep buying them simply for the fact that Essie colors do not necessarily need a top coat. Without a top coat, they can last for a week or longer. It's amazing. They're a great investment if you love nail polish. :)

coney island cotton candy turns an ugly orangish on my nails after a couple days. It seems like it oxidizes and turns. I love the shade on others and for the first day or two I wear it, but then it goes "bad". I've had this happen to a few other shades.

you know that its not the container that causes u to see the nail polish colors its just the way the nail polish is made. thats why u cant see the mac and chanel ones

how long will it take for a nailpolish to go bad? Mine usually get a little thicker when I don't use it often so my trick is to add a few drops of nail polish remover into the bottle, close it, shake it and its like new. BUT how long until I actually should throw out the bottle lol?

@zvezdapadalica15 I've done some research on this, and apparently adding remover to your polish is bad and breaks it down over time. They do have polish thinner for not too expensive and it lasts a long time. And polish usually doesn't really go bad, it just gets thicker so you add the thinner and it should be okay. I have seen some youtube polish gurus who have had polish for like 20 years and just add thinner every once in a while and shake it up!
