Just to let you know, the way things work being into double figures in the 2000's - 2010 will be the next big fireworks display, the one on the video above, 2008/9 wasnt a very good or big one compared to previous years if you can believe it.

If you cant come next year come 2012! for new year....

The excitement in Moscow was kinda... blah. Considering New Year's is the most important holiday in Russia. I was for 2008 one but i felt much more excitement back then. I was in New York this year but it was kinda boring. The Parisian one looked beautiful.
